It and the Santana both have the Biflex with a CTS tweet, dunno if same tweet...
I think the Santana is slightly more expensive, fancier fake slate top...and perhaps a little better crossover...
IOW I don't know fer shure, just my understandings there.

Congrats Ron! I think the biflex woofers could have been utilized in more Altec systems--great design to extend the upper response of a 15. Glad to see they went to one of our members here.....
Well, the owner sent me an emial saying they hooked them up and one had a bad woofer. It ratled. So they took them to the local shop and he confirmed that the cone had a bad rub. The shop has been there forever and used to be an authorised Altec repair center. They even buy parts from GPA so I trust his judgement.
So I'll have to stay at just the 5 sets of Altecs for now.
too bad, these were owned by an elderly couple, who passed away. One wouldn't think they were rocking out and blew one up! Maybe the hearing aid batteries were dead.....ha!
